Hi, I’m Nicole Lopez.

I started taking pictures as a kid with Kodak disposables, documenting everything from staged toys to candid family vacations and friends.

In college, I studied photojournalism and grew to love visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve brought that documentary foundation into all of my work: shooting as a lead photographer for a Minneapolis studio, documenting more than 100 weddings, and capturing portraits, restaurants, and events.

Across film and digital, people, spaces, and brands, I always gravitate toward honest, narrative-driven imagery.

And I still feel like a kid waiting for my film to come back from the lab.
